A Day for the Wicked, A Day for the Righteous, & A Day for the Lord’s Return

Pastor Jeff closes out the Sunday morning study in the book of Malachi.

A Day Is Coming

A Call To Restoration

Pastor Jeff continues through the book of Malachi (3:7-12) and see God’s call to His people, which is A CALL TO RESTORATION.

This was God’s call to them then and this is the call of God to mankind today.  God desires that all will come to Him through a relationship of restoration.  Pastor Jeff shares that this call of restoration today is through none other than Jesus Christ.  And for the Church this call of restoration is rooted in a walk of faithfulness and even sacrifice.

The Significance of the Shepherds

In this Christmas morning message, Pastor Jeff takes a look at these shepherds and shares three things about them and their connection to the Christmas Story—the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  1. WHO WERE THEY? Because of sin  all are unworthy
  2. WHY WERE THEY CHOSEN? God is no respecter of persons
  3. WHAT WAS THEIR PURPOSE? The Good News is our story

Jesus’ Work of Peace

As the Church nears the celebration and recognition of Jesus’ birth Pastor Jeff teaches from Isaiah 53, which prophesied that the “punishment for our peace was upon [Jesus]”.  As we celebrate Christ who won our salvation on the cross, we celebrate His birth in the cradle for bringing us peace, His peace, which works in our lives, by our labors, and throughout our land.

A Disciple’s Relationship to Christ

In this message, Pastor Jeff preaches the first of three messages from John 15.  This message, from 15:1-11, addresses the life of a disciple and their relationship with Christ.  In this relationship there are some clear markers or characteristics.
  • It is a life that remains in Christ.
  • It is a life that produces fruit (more, much).
  • It is a life that glorifies God.
