Our Relationships Because of His Grace

In this message (Ephesians 5:22-6:9), Pastor Jeff teaches from Paul’s letter to the church at Ephesus as he addresses three areas of relationships.
  1. Wives & Husbands, 5:22-33
  2. Children & Parents, 6:1-4
  3. Slaves & Masters, 6:5-9
In each of these relationships, Paul commands us to treat the other with a heart that is of Christ as he closes each of these points with, “As to the Lord”.  We are called to live, lead, and love as we live for, love, and are led by the Lord Jesus Christ.

A New Life by Grace

In this message from Ephesians 4:17-32, Pastor Jeff shares how Paul wrote this letter to the church as a witness of Christ for how they were to live because of Christ.  Because they had confessed of putting away the “old self” and replacing it with the “new self”, their lives were to look different; their minds were to think differently,  their mouths were to speak differently, and their actions were to be exercised differently.

This body of believers in Paul’s day as for all believers today, are called not only to enter into a new life that is by grace, but as well daily live this new life which is, a new life by grace.

All Because of Grace

Pastor Jeff shares that grace is to cover every area of the life of a follower of Christ.  without question, it is by God’s grace through a complete faith in the work of Jesus that a person can be eternally saved; however, God’s grace extends past the point of salvation to the place of service.  In Ephesians 4:7-16 we see this “serving” grace working in five areas of a believer’s life.
  1. Grace from our Savior, vv7-11
  2. Grace for our service, vv12-13
  3. Grace for our stability, v14
  4.  Grace for our speech, v15
  5. Grace for our structure, v16

The Challenge of a Christian’s Character

As Pastor Jeff continues in Paul’s letter to the Church in Ephesus we turn to Ephesians 4:1-6.  Here we find the Apostle Paul as a prisoner of the Lord urging(a passionate call, strong encouragement) the saints in Ephesus to walk worthy of the calling they had received to follow Christ as Lord.  The reason for this had everything to do with their CHARACTER, which was to be firmly rooted and established in Christ (3:17) and from this Character they would be drawn togethe

A Reason To Kneel

Pastor Jeff continues in the morning message to show the position of Paul and his ministry to the Ephesian church through his letter to them in chapter 3:14-21.  In these verses we see his ministry to this church fall in two basic categories.
  1. PAUL’S PRAYER FOR THE EPHESIANS (vv. 14–19)
    • That the church would be strengthened by the Spirit
    • That Christ would dwell in their hearts through faith
    • That they might be able to comprehend Christ’s love for them
  2. PAUL’S PRAISE TO GOD (vv. 20–21)
    • That God is able

A Ministry of Grace

Pastor Jeff in this message shares the pupose of Paul’s calling as an Apostle in Ephesians 3:1-13 as he continues in the series of Ephesians: A Message of Grace.

Paul knew he was serving a great calling, which was for a great purpose and all the while it was to him—A GREAT PRIVILEGE.  May you and I be willing to be a prisoner of Christ only as we live with an awe and indebtedness for wha

Our Unity by His Grace

In this Message, Pastor Jeff addresses the position of a Christian by way of God’s grace.
  1. Who we were: dead in our trespasses and sin
  2. What He has done: given His Son to become sin for us
  3. Who we are: Members of His household as His children

“I am not what I ought to be, I am not what I hope to be in another world; but still I am not what I once used to be, and by the grace of God I am what I am.”  John Newton

Paul’s Prayer

Pastor Jeff delivers a message from Ephesians 1:15-19 titled: “Paul’s Prayer” from his series in Ephesians: A Message of Grace.  In this message Pastor Jeff speaks to four points that are evident in Paul’s prayer to God for this church there in Ephesus.
